Create Now - Charity Art Gallery
mergeLA 3nd annual charity event July 12th, 2018

We are excited to support Create Now for the 3rd year at our event.  This year we offer everyone the opportunity to purchase a print in support of the fundraiser.  Your print of choice will be printed by our artisan printing partners at Contact Photo Lab and shipped directly to your home.

Create Now gives youth opportunities to find their voices through arts mentoring and education. Serving children ages 2-21 who have been abused, neglected, homeless, domestic violence victims, incarcerated, etc. by matching them with artists, writers, musicians, actors, dancers and others, including mentors who teach life skills. Create Now provides training and materials to implement therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, performing arts, fashion and digital media at 100+ partner agencies, like shelters and group homes. While Create Now focuses on using arts education as an intervention tool for vulnerable youth, their programs help prevent cycles of abuse, homelessness and violence. Each year, they bring thousands of these "forgotten children" who have fallen through the cracks to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region.

Yollocalli - Auction Gallery
mergeCHICAGO charity event April 27th, 2017

Yollocalli Arts Reach started in 1997 with the intention to address the educational needs of young people in the Pilsen community, and to create opportunities for young artists to explore interests and uncover their artistic talents while learning about careers in the arts. Over the years we have  grown into a platform where youth can learn from emerging artists, collaborate with them in their art making practices, as well as become active members of Chicago’s growing creative community.  In 2011, Yollocalli became an Arts Partner in Residence of the Chicago Park District at Barrett Park, which unites artists and communities in Chicago’s parks.  The field house was converted to a satellite art studio space, helping revitalize the park and increase arts programming in Pilsen.

Yollocalli has created over 30 murals spanning the Chicagoland area, and participated in many city arts and cultural festivals.  Let’s go for a walk, we have a helpful mural map!

DrawBridge - Auction Gallery
mergeSF charity event March 23rd, 2017

Since 1989, DrawBridge has inspired over 35,000 homeless and underserved children through weekly expressive art programs that are offered free of charge right where these kids live – in dozens of homeless shelters, safe houses and other low-income facilities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Through drawing, painting, clay, collage, and more, children ages four and up are given the opportunity to explore the playful creativity that is so important to healthy development. DrawBridge sees expressive art as a bridge that connects kids not only to their community, but to a wider world of possibilities that includes enhanced creativity, joy, self-confidence and hope. The guiding force behind DrawBridge is a profound respect for the innate wisdom of young people. We nurture that wisdom through art and creativity. We believe that being understood and valued gives children the freedom to grow.

Art Start - Auction Gallery
mergeNY charity event October 6th, 2017

Art Start nurtures the voices, hearts and minds of New York City's underserved youth through consistent creative workshops inside homeless shelters, alternative to incarceration programs, and partnering youth agencies. Art Start began in the spring of 1991 when a handful of artists got together with children in NYC homeless shelters to connect through art. Since that moment, Art Start has brought the creative process to over 23,000 youth and enlisted over 11,700 volunteer teaching artists. The central tenet to the organization is to serve vulnerable NYC youth who are in highest need of creative opportunities and who are the least likely to receive them.  The majority of Art Start programs bring the creative process directly to the places where youth reside. Art Start carries out its mission through three pillars of programming––Homeless Youth Outreach, Youth Offender Outreach and the Emerging Artists Program.  The following artworks will be framed and available for bidding during the event:
